Run because everybody believes you are not young enough to walk.

reason, motivation, poem,smile, run
Smile because your tears are blurring your vision of reason.

Sing when the world stares at you and tell you your voice is crappy.

Trust because when your heart begs you not.

Twirl because your mind makes sense of what you see of the world.

Frolick because you are made fun of. Kiss because others are watching.

Sleep because you are afraid it may not be the right dream.

Run because everybody believes you are not young enough to walk.

Theres a road going left and right, which one would you take?

I am standing at a crossroads with no signs pointing the way; My shadow stretches in front of me from the dawning of a new day; No matter which road I choose to take, there will be no turning back; Whether or not you’re on the path I choose requires knowledge that I lack. One […]

The picture really sets the scene!

In the wilderness of Maine, in the rhythm of the waves, in rivers of the mountains, a calling to my heart, to my pen, wings lifting with a new wildness in my senses I write the words launching the poem from my spirit. Poetry and Image © Copyright 2017, ancient skies

So utterly graphic! How does this make you feel?

Written by Jacob Ibrag Black star, who do you think you are? Crickets sleeping in the depths of your crater. We won’t see you coming. Hidden. Being happy poem

Being happy

happy, smiling, dog, bulldog, grey

Steal the key that fits the lock of everybody’s heart.

What sunshine is to flowers, smiles are to humanity.

Ambition

Just remember the only thing screwed up is the picture in people’s head of how things are supposed to be

Yesterday is today’s gain

Tomorrow is today’s to tame

The past shall not take too much of today

and the future shall teach you who you really are and what you really want

Finding beauty in the most “unlikely” places

People can’t see themselves,
this is why we look into people’s eyes as if they were mirrors,
but their eyes talk about themselves,
not you,
so find beauty inside of you
and let what you do reflect it.
